We must work to save every natural, open space that remains on Bainbridge.

I am against the Suzuki Project because we must work to save every natural, open space that remains on Bainbridge. Zoning laws and codes exist for a reason—they were thoughtfully constructed, worried over, discussed ad infinitum and passed. COBI must stop disregarding the work of its predecessors.

Specific Concerns About the Plan
By over developing the property we are taxing our precious water resources and our sewer systems. The development will cause disastrous traffic patterns, increase emergency vehicle response times, and elevate noise and light pollution levels. Excavation of the rich and vibrant top soil reduces our ability to provide carbon containment in order to adapt to climate change. Housing Resources Bainbridge is a phenomenal organization in our small community. They are a precious resource. We don't want HRB to extend beyond its capacity for a too intensive, overly dense, and too invasive development.
