Our government must be the gatekeepers of our town.

We can't allow big business to run roughshod over our neighbors in violation of our Winslow Master Plan and Comprehensive Plan. Sadly, so many of our officials appear compromised and conflicted as developments scorch our earth. Our government must be the gatekeepers of our town. Profits must not be valued over quality of life in violation of our comprehensive plan and the Winslow master plan.

A better bargain can be negotiated when we prescribe appropriate growth with these plans in mind. We need people to run our city who:

1. Don't take any money or endorsements

2. Aren't interested in a career in politics

3. Utilize the tremendous intellectual resources around them to make better judgments in order to improve the lives of people who live and work on Bainbridge today.
